ULTRASOUND

Only ONE treatment for AMAZING RESULTS! First machine in the valley!! Making Skin Listen With Sound!

Put aging skin back in its place — without a surgical facelift. Sagging skin gives you tired-looking eyes and distorts the contours of your face at the chin and neck. Ultrasound lifts and tightens skin for a non-surgical face lift and neck lift. Since its release in 2012, High Intensity Focused Ultrasound has been quickly growing in popularity with experts worldwide as an advanced ultrasound device.

Common treatment areas include:

  • Brows and forehead
  • Chin
  • Neck (“turkey neck”)
  • Stomach
  • Stretch marks

HIFU is one of the most popular and highly developed systems available. Non-invasive ultrasound energy generates low levels of heat in the targeted skin. This stimulates the cells for collagen production and tissue rejuvenation. With just one treatment, ultrasound pushes mature skin to start working hard again. Smoother, firmer, and brighter skin in the months after treatment.

Your eyes will look more open, brows more lifted, fine lines softened, and pore reduced. Because of the restored elasticity, your skin will feel softer and more supple, too. If you don’t think you need surgery yet or simply hate the thought of the knife, ultrasound may be the natural facelift or neck lift alternative for you. Don’t let gravity get you down. (Sorry for the puns.)

  • Blurred jawline
  • Drooping, especially around the mouth
  • Sagging eyelids
  • Loose neck folds
  • Thin, crepe-y skin
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Minor redness and dryness
  • Uneven skin tone or texture
  • Large pores

FAQ

What is Ultrasound ?

Ultrasound is a non-surgical face treatment that uses ultrasound to actually lift muscle and tone loose or sagging skin without any downtime.

What is unique about this procedure?

Ultrasound is the only non-invasive treatment that can specifically target the deep foundation below the skin that is addressed in cosmetic surgery without cutting or disrupting the surface of the skin. It is also the only procedure to use ultrasound imaging, which allows us to actually see the layers of tissue we target during treatment and ensure the energy is deposited precisely to where it will be most effective.

What kind of technology do we use?

We use tried-and-true ultrasound technology, which has received FDA and Health Canada clearance for use in this new type of medical procedure.

What does the Ultrasound therapy do?

It deposits focused ultrasound energy below the surface of the skin to contract the facial layer as well as stimulate the body’s creation of new collagen. As a result, skin will actually begin to lift and tone over time.

What does collagen do? How does Ultrasound stimulate the creation of collagen?

Collagen is a natural protein that gives skin its youthfulness by keeping it firmed, toned and elastic. As we age, collagen loses its elasticity and its ability to stand up to the effects of gravity that pull the skin downward. Ultrasound jump starts a repair process that produces fresh, new collagen.

Is Ultrasound surgery?

No. Unlike a face lift, Ultrasound is a non-invasive procedure that addresses the skin and support layers below it, but doesn’t entail cutting or disrupting the surface of the skin.

Can Ultrasound replace a face lift?

Ultrasound is an “uplift” not a “face lift.” While it is not a replacement for surgery, it is a viable option for those not ready for a face lift or those looking to prolong the effects of cosmetic surgery.

How is Ultrasound different from lasers?

Lasers typically address issues in the superficial layers of the skin (e.g. fine lines, wrinkles, pigment changes). Ultrasound addresses the deep skin layer and the foundational layer addressed in cosmetic surgery that lift and lend support to the skin. Therefore, the two technologies are quite complementary!

Is Ultrasound safe?

The procedure has been cleared after demonstrating safety in clinical studies, and tens of thousands of treatments have been performed safely worldwide. In addition, ultrasound energy has a proven track record, with use in the field of medicine for more than 50 years.

How long does the ultrasound treatment take?

A full face treatment takes 45-60 minutes, and a partial face or brow lift treatment can take around 30 minutes—neither with any downtime.

Is there any downtime?

Ultrasound is an entirely non-invasive procedure and as such, there is no downtime. You are able to return to your normal activities right away, and there are no special measures you need to take.

Who is a good candidate for Ultrasound?

A good candidate for Ultrasound is someone with skin that has “relaxed” to the point of looking, and often feeling, less firm. A lowered eyebrow line or sagging skin on the eyelids, for instance, is often the first sign of “maturing” skin. Typically, those in their thirties and older who have mild to moderate skin laxity are candidates.

While Ultrasound is not a replacement for a surgical face lift, there are many people who want some lifting but are not ready for surgery, either mentally, financially or logistically. There are also younger people who want to “stay ahead of the game” as well as those looking to prolong the effects of cosmetic surgery.

What problem areas does Ultrasound target? What kind of results do you get?

Ultrasound addresses mild to moderate loose or sagging skin. Specifically, by reconditioning and renewing the skin from within, Ultrasound will lift the brow, which in turn reduces excess skin on the lids, opens up the eyes, and gives a more refreshed look overall. As well as full face, neck, chest, arms, elbows, tummy, inner thighs and knees.

How long until I see results?

Patients may enjoy some initial effect but the ultimate lifting and toning will take place over 2-3 months, as tired collagen is replaced with new, more elastic collagen. As this collagen-building process continues, further improvements can appear up to 6 months following a procedure.

How long do results last?

Patients treated with Ultrasound still have fresh young collagen after a year’s time following the procedure and can continue for up to another year depending on the condition of the skin. Future touch-up treatments can help keep pace with the aging process, which varies by individual.

Will I need more than one treatment?

The majority of patients only need one treatment; however, some may benefit from more than one treatment (depending on how much laxity they have and their body’s own biological response to the ultrasound and collagen- building process).

Will I feel the ultrasound during the treatment?

Yes. What you are feeling during the treatment is actually tiny amounts of focused ultrasound energy being deposited below the surface of the skin.

What does it feel like?

Patients have noted there can be some discomfort while the ultrasound energy is being delivered, but it is temporary and a positive signal that the collagen-building process has been initiated.

Is Ultrasound painful?

Comfort thresholds vary from patient to patient, but there can be some discomfort while the ultrasound energy is being delivered. This is temporary and a positive signal that the collagen-building process has been initiated.

Your practitioner will consult with you prior to your skin treatment to make your experience as pleasant as possible. Patients typically leave comfortable and excited about the benefits to come!

Are there any side effects?

There may be slight redness for up to an hour or so following the treatment, and a small percentage of clients may have slight swelling, tingling or tenderness to touch, but these are mild and temporary in nature. The feeling of a muscle workout soreness is common but relieves itself quickly.

LIPO Ultrasound FAQ
Body Slimming and Tightening

What is Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening ?

Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening is device new to the North America that has been used overseas to permanently get rid of fat cells and reduce waist size. Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening uses  ultrasound waves to permanently get rid of fat cells selectively in your problem areas. Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening gets rid of these fat cells without surgery and with minimal side effects or downtime. For decades people have been trying to selectively remove fat from problem areas, using belts, injections, exercise and many other techniques. Until now, the only way to really remove fat from a selective area was liposuction. Now there is Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening.

How does Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening work?

Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening uses a special technology to cause the death of fat cells safely and effectively. Focusing the ultrasound energy, Body Slimming and Tightening  at 1-2 cm  below the surface of the skin avoids any burns or trauma to the skin and makes the treatment more comfortable. The fat cells are disrupted by the ultrasound resulting in a average 3-8 cm in 1 to 3 treatments.  45 days between each treatment.

Who is a good candidate for Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening?

Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening is best for certain patients. Both women and men can be candidates. You should be able to pinch at least an inch of fat in your area of concern. A layer of fat less than an inch probably does not require treatment. You should also be fairly close to your ideal body weight. Persons with Body Mass Index (BMI) less than 30 may be candidates. If your BMI is greater than 30, you will probably do better with liposuction than with Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening . Currently Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening  has been approved for use on the abdomen and love handles. Some patients may be appropriate for other body areas. To find out your BMI follow this link: CDC BMI Calculator.

What happens to the fat after Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening ?

The disrupted fat cells attract the body’s inflammatory and healing responses. Special cells called macrophages engulf the fat and cellular debris. The macrophages then transport the fat through the lymphatic and venous system eventually to the liver. This process takes 2-4 weeks, so there are no changes in fat, triglyceride or any other body chemistries. The liver treats the fat from the macrophages just like fat you have eaten. The liver takes the fat and metabolizes it normally. Studies have not shown an increase in other body measurements after the use of . This means there is no measurable redistribution of the fat. We know it can’t go back to the treatment area because those cells no longer exist.

How much downtime will I have?

Immediately after your procedure you will walk out and be able to perform mild activities. Unlike the need for prolonged recovery and possible overnight stay when liposuction is performed with heavy anesthesia, downtime is minimized. Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening significantly reduces tissue trauma and post procedural pain.  Clients are able to return to work the same day, normal activity can be resumed right after the procedure.

Will Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening help me lose weight?

Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening  NOT a weight loss procedure. The fat cells are permanently disrupted with Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening  treatment. However, the fat inside the cells is not destroyed. The fat is carried back to your liver and treated just like food you eat. Once processed by the liver, the fat released by Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening treatments is sent back out to fat cells in the body. Since the fat cells the fat came from are no longer present due to the Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening  treatment, the fat cannot return to the treatment area. Typically, it will go to multiple places in the body and result in few if any measurable increases to other body areas. It is important to remember: Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening permanently disrupts fat cells but does not destroy or eliminate fat. You cannot use Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening  for weight loss, only inches loss.

What kind of results can I expect from Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening ?

The current studies showed an average decrease in waist size of 4.6 cm or 1.8 inches after 3 months .( 1 to 3 treatments) This is essentially one pant size.  Although some results from Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening  are often seen in 1-2 weeks, it often takes 3-6 month for the final results to be realized.

What are the side effects of Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening ?
