Fat Reduction, Face Lifting, Skin Tightening

Only ONE treatment for AMAZING RESULTS! First machine in the valley!! Making Skin Listen With Sound!

Put aging skin back in its place — without a surgical facelift. Sagging skin gives you tired-looking eyes and distorts the contours of your face at the chin and neck. Ultrasound lifts and tightens skin for a non-surgical face lift and neck lift. Since its release in 2012, High Intensity Focused Ultrasound has been quickly growing in popularity with experts worldwide as an advanced ultrasound device.

Common treatment areas include:

  • Brows and forehead
  • Chin
  • Neck (“turkey neck”)
  • Stomach
  • Stretch marks

HIFU is one of the most popular and highly developed systems available. Non-invasive ultrasound energy generates low levels of heat in the targeted skin. This stimulates the cells for collagen production and tissue rejuvenation. With just one treatment, ultrasound pushes mature skin to start working hard again. Smoother, firmer, and brighter skin in the months after treatment.

Your eyes will look more open, brows more lifted, fine lines softened, and pore reduced. Because of the restored elasticity, your skin will feel softer and more supple, too. If you don’t think you need surgery yet or simply hate the thought of the knife, ultrasound may be the natural facelift or neck lift alternative for you. Don’t let gravity get you down. (Sorry for the puns.)

Ultrasound FAQ

Everything you might want to know about our ultrasound face lifting and body slimming treatments, in plain terms.

For your faceFace Lifting & Skin Tightening

What is ultrasound treatment?

It is a non-surgical face treatment that uses ultrasound to lift muscle and tone loose or sagging skin, with no downtime.

What makes it different?

It is the only non-invasive treatment that reaches the deep foundation below your skin, the same layer addressed in cosmetic surgery, without cutting the surface. It also uses ultrasound imaging, so we can see the layers of tissue we are treating and place the energy exactly where it works best.

What technology do you use?

Proven ultrasound technology that has FDA and Health Canada clearance for this type of procedure.

What does it actually do?

It deposits focused ultrasound energy below the surface of your skin to contract the facial layer and kick-start your body's own production of new collagen. Over time, the skin begins to lift and tone.

What is collagen, and how does this help it?

Collagen is the natural protein that keeps skin firm, toned, and elastic. As we age, it loses its strength and its ability to resist gravity, so skin starts to sag. Ultrasound jump-starts a repair process that produces fresh, new collagen.

Is this surgery?

No. Unlike a face lift, it is non-invasive. It treats the skin and the support layers beneath it without cutting or disrupting the surface.

Can it replace a face lift?

Think of it as an "uplift" rather than a "face lift." It is not a replacement for surgery, but it is a great option if you are not ready for a face lift, or if you want to prolong the results of one.

How is it different from lasers?

Lasers work on the surface layers of the skin, things like fine lines, wrinkles, and pigment changes. Ultrasound reaches the deep layer that lifts and supports the skin. The two actually complement each other nicely.

Is it safe?

Yes. It was cleared after showing safety in clinical studies, and tens of thousands of treatments have been performed safely around the world. Ultrasound energy also has a long track record, with more than 50 years of use in medicine.

How long does a treatment take?

A full face treatment takes 45 to 60 minutes. A partial face or brow lift takes around 30 minutes. Neither one has any downtime.

Is there any downtime?

None. You can return to your normal activities right away, with no special measures to take afterward.

Who is a good candidate?

Someone whose skin has relaxed to the point of looking, and often feeling, less firm. A lowered brow line or sagging eyelids are often the first signs. Most candidates are in their thirties or older with mild to moderate skin laxity. It also suits younger people who want to stay ahead of the aging process, and those looking to extend the results of cosmetic surgery.

What areas does it treat, and what results can I expect?

It addresses mild to moderate loose or sagging skin. By renewing the skin from within, it lifts the brow, reduces excess skin on the lids, opens up the eyes, and gives a fresher look overall. It can also treat the neck, chest, arms, elbows, tummy, inner thighs, and knees.

How soon will I see results?

You may notice some effect early on, but the real lifting and toning happens over 2 to 3 months as tired collagen is replaced with fresh, more elastic collagen. Further improvements can keep appearing for up to 6 months.

How long do results last?

Most people still have fresh young collagen a year after treatment, and results can continue for up to another year depending on your skin. Occasional touch-ups help keep pace with the natural aging process.

Will I need more than one treatment?

Most people only need one. Some benefit from more, depending on how much laxity they have and how their body responds to the collagen-building process.

Does it hurt?

During the treatment you will feel tiny amounts of focused ultrasound energy being delivered below the surface of your skin. There can be some temporary discomfort, which is actually a positive sign that the collagen-building process has started. Comfort levels vary from person to person, and your practitioner will talk everything through with you first to make the experience as pleasant as possible. Most people leave comfortable and excited about the results to come.

Are there any side effects?

There may be slight redness for up to an hour or so. A small number of clients notice mild swelling, tingling, or tenderness to the touch, but these are mild and temporary. A feeling similar to muscle soreness after a workout is common and settles quickly.

For your bodyLIPO Ultrasound: Body Slimming & Tightening

What is Ultrasound Body Slimming and Tightening?

It is a treatment that uses ultrasound waves to permanently remove fat cells and reduce inches in your problem areas, without surgery and with minimal side effects or downtime. For years, the only way to remove fat from a specific area was liposuction. Now there is a non-surgical option.

How does it work?

Focused ultrasound energy is delivered 1 to 2 cm below the surface of your skin, which avoids any burns or trauma to the skin and keeps the treatment comfortable. The ultrasound disrupts the fat cells, resulting in an average reduction of 3 to 8 cm over 1 to 3 treatments, spaced 45 days apart.

Who is a good candidate?

Both women and men can be candidates. You should be able to pinch at least an inch of fat in the area of concern and be fairly close to your ideal body weight. A Body Mass Index under 30 is usually a good sign. If your BMI is over 30, liposuction may give you better results. It is currently approved for the abdomen and love handles, and some clients may suit other areas.

What happens to the fat afterward?

The disrupted fat cells trigger your body's natural healing response. Special cells called macrophages collect the fat and debris and carry it through the lymphatic and venous system to the liver, which processes it just like fat from food. This takes 2 to 4 weeks. The fat cannot return to the treated area because those cells no longer exist.

How much downtime will I have?

Very little. Right after your procedure you can walk out and do mild activities. Unlike liposuction, there is no prolonged recovery, and most clients return to work and normal activity the same day.

Will it help me lose weight?

No. This is inch loss, not weight loss. It permanently disrupts fat cells, but it does not destroy the fat itself. The fat is carried to your liver and processed like food you eat. Because the treated fat cells are gone, the fat cannot return to that area.

What results can I expect?

Most people have 1 to 3 treatments, each about an hour long. Studies showed an average waist reduction of 4.6 cm, or 1.8 inches, after 3 months, which is roughly one pant size. Some results appear in 1 to 2 weeks, with final results usually seen in 3 to 6 months.

Are there any side effects?

Side effects are mild. Most clients feel little or no discomfort. Since everyone's pain tolerance is different, the only medication we suggest is extra-strength Tylenol. Some clients notice redness, which usually fades within a few hours, or mild swelling, which usually settles within a few days.

How long does the procedure take?

A treatment is typically completed in one to two hours. Your technician will confirm the details based on your treatment areas.

What should I do afterward?

For 24 hours before and after your treatment, avoid alcohol and hot baths. We recommend keeping up your usual healthy diet and active lifestyle, or even stepping it up.
